Points against: Besides the personal preferences, regional favoritism, and bias of 'in-house' ratings (such as BevMO's Mr. Wong), scores can carry too much weight in buying decisions. Points for: This doesn't take away from the benefits of a score, if you know/trust your favorite source and variety, as the score makes your decision easier and justifies a price differential.
